Responsibilities
Oversees the design, development, implementation and analysis of highly complex technical products
Has very strong analytical and reasoning skills
Ability to review, assess and synthesize complex data sets
Supports multiple complex engineering tasks simultaneously
Leads or is a member of large, distributed teams
Conducts advanced research and applies it to assigned projects
Understands and applies advanced system design principles
Ability to interact professionally in a badge-less customer environment
Has excellent presentation skills
Possesses the ability to prepare and deliver briefings and supporting data to immediate customer and senior leaders
Qualification
Required
Must have a BS in STEM (or comparable degree/experience) and relevant related experience
Has very strong analytical and reasoning skills
Ability to review, assess and synthesize complex data sets
Supports multiple complex engineering tasks simultaneously
Leads or is a member of large, distributed teams
Conducts advanced research and applies it to assigned projects
Understands and applies advanced system design principles
Ability to interact professionally in a badge-less customer environment
Has excellent presentation skills
Possesses the ability to prepare and deliver briefings and supporting data to immediate customer and senior leaders
Must have an Active DoW Secret clearance and the ability to maintain a clearance
Preferred
Experience with Python, MATLAB, Microsoft Project and MS Office Suite, preferred
Experience with solid rocket motor functionality, application, analysis and /or design experience (Super Road Runner, Terrier, Honest John), preferred
Ability to read/interpret and possibly create advanced engineering drawings and schematics
Systems Engineering Experience
Willingness to think outside the box on new propulsion system prototypes, preferred
Experience working on multi-faceted complex prototype systems, preferred
Ability to create analytic tools to aid in development of technical recommendations to the customer, preferred
High Speed Test Track Experience
Prefer an Active DoD Top Secret Clearance or Interim Top-Secret clearance
