The position of Consolidation Lead Accountant will be responsible for various accounting, reporting, analysis, and SOX compliance, with an emphasis on intercompany accounting/reporting.

Responsibilities
Maintain the Oracle FCCS consolidation system (chart of accounts, master data, consolidation jobs, ect.)
Prepare monthly consolidation journal entries
Perform various monthly account reconciliations, investigate intercompany out of balances, and review intercompany eliminations
Maintain internal and external financial reports (consolidating EBITDA bridges, segment reporting, statement of cash flows, ect.)
Collaborate across assorted business functions (finance, accounting, sales, operations, HR, etc.) providing insight and supporting various projects
Support ongoing efforts focused on streamlining, improving, and automating processes
Ensure SOX compliance by adhering to internal control requirements, maintaining updated documentation and providing recommendations as appropriate
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
Minimum of 5+ years practical work experience
Strong technical skills including knowledge of GAAP
Attention to detail and accuracy is a must
Ability to understand issues, demonstrate resourcefulness and pro-actively resolve problems and manage multiple projects in a timely manner
Strong analytical & problem-solving skills to research and resolve inquiries and respond in a timely manner
Able to handle confidential information in a mature manner
Solid organizational skills: task prioritization and effective time management
Mid- to advanced PC skills using Outlook, Word, Excel (ability to perform pivots, V-lookups and other functions with Excel)

Oracle and/or FCCS experience preferred, but not required
