EEO Program Specialist

The Exchange is focused on Equal Employment Opportunity and is seeking an EEO Program Specialist to manage the implementation of procedures for handling EEO complaints and anti-harassment initiatives. Responsibilities

Manage the implementation procedures for worldwide informal and formal Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) complaints, anti-harassment, and Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR)
Serve as the initial EEO technical authority overseeing timely, fair, and impartial review and recommendation of discrimination complaints
Provide leadership and monitor all phases of the informal and formal EEO complaints process, anti-harassment, and ADR programs to ensure complaints are processed timely and follow guidance, directives, regulations, and applicable laws
Provide final approval of settlement agreements
Conduct initial review of formal EEO complaints
Prepare recommended action based on complexity
Conduct complaints analysis
Report trends/business information to senior management
Review Investigations and Resolutions Directorate (IRD) reports of investigation and prepare final decisions for complainant/ Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), if appealed
Provide technical guidance and compliance assistance to all levels of management for resolution of problems connected with formal and informal complaints of discrimination
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

EXCEL & ACCESS - INTERMEDIATE LEVEL
MICROSOFT OFFICE PRODUCTS
Five years of experience with federal or private sector Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) complaint processing within the last eight years to include three years of active experience as an EEO mediator
Or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, or Human Resources and three years of experience with federal or private sector Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) complaint processing to include three years of active experience as an EEO mediator within the last five years
Associate must successfully complete the Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act (HIPAA), course code 249F, concerning the handling of personal health information as required by HIPAA within 3 months of occupying the position. Until training has been completed, the Associate may not perform any duties relating to personal health information
