The Analyst (Capital Markets) will develop and maintain cash flow models for structured finance transactions, providing analysis and reporting for various asset classes while collaborating with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Develop and monitor cash flow models using multiple software tools including excel, vba, c/c++
Perform analysis of complex data sets to ensure accurate reporting from mortgage servicers using database software tools
Communicate with third-party support for the reconciliation of various database reporting variances
Perform quantitative analysis for the interpretation of tax analysis to support clients and other transaction parties
Provide daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly progress reports for clients for both periodic cash flows and tax analysis
Develop and enhance processes for use in database management and operational infrastructure

Required

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Understanding of financial concepts
The ability to learn quickly and be self motivated
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong proficiency with Excel and MS Office

Preferred

Experience with SQL, VBA, C/C++, Java, Python, or other higher level programming languages is not required, but would be helpful
MS degree in Applied Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Statistics, Finance or Business Administration preferred
