The Senior Accountant will be responsible for financial reporting, project accounting, and analysis, including preparing financial reports and managing cash flow.

Professional Services

Responsibilities

Prepare all necessary financial reports, journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations accurately and on a timely basis
Daily cash management reports and bank reconciliations
Post adjusting journal entries at month-end
Preparation of monthly account and bank reconciliations
Deposit cash and scan backup
Daily cash management and bank reconciliations
Support staff on special projects as needed
Provide assistance with interim and year-end audits

Required

BS/BA degree in Accounting/Finance
3-8 years of experience in accounting of similar for a major company or division of a large corporation
Have an understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Strong computer skills, proficiency with Excel and Word
Good written and oral communication skills
Detail-oriented and highly motivated, self-starter
Superior organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills

Preferred

Experience in an Architecture/Engineering or Professional Service Company is a plus
Prior experience with Deltek VantagePoint would be a plus
