They are seeking a Die Cast Machine Engineer to assist in the design, development, and implementation of die casting equipment and processes, supporting CAD design, procurement, machine programming, and production optimization.

Responsibilities
Assist the Lead Engineer with CAD design of die cast tooling, fixtures, and machine components
Support procurement activities, including sourcing components, preparing technical specifications, and coordinating with vendors and suppliers
Assist with machine and process programming, including parameter setup, optimization, and documentation
Participate in die casting process improvement efforts to enhance quality, efficiency, and cycle times
Support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of die cast machines and auxiliary equipment
Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve technical issues
Maintain engineering documentation, drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and revision control
Assist in developing and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
Support continuous improvement, cost reduction, and safety initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Basic to intermediate experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
Understanding of die casting processes, machine operation, or metal manufacturing is preferred
Familiarity with procurement processes and vendor coordination is a plus
Entry-level to mid-level experience; recent graduates with relevant internships are encouraged to apply
Preferred
Experience with die cast machine programming or process setup
Knowledge of aluminum, zinc, or magnesium die casting
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Comfortable working in a manufacturing floor environment
