The RN will be responsible for the professional nursing care of assigned patients, ensuring their physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs are met while maintaining proper documentation and a safe environment.

Responsibilities
Responsible for the professional nursing care of all assigned patients in accordance with established standards of care and within the scope of the current Nurse Practice Act
Responsible for meeting the physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs of the patients assigned to her care
Responsible for maintaining the patients' medical record with proper documentation of nursing observation and actions taken
Plans, delegates, and coordinates the nursing care provided to the patient
Utilizing the nursing process and evidence based practice, responsible for maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment, maintaining the patient's dignity and privacy at all times
Qualification
Required
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current licensure as a registered nurse by the Mississippi State Board of Nursing
Current knowledge and skills appropriate to the age and type of patient population served
Proficient oral, computer, and written communication skills
Proficient interpersonal skills
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
