Responsibilities

Monitors the efficient movement of material from the warehouse to production
Use ERP systems and production planning software to process transactions
Maintain accurate records and manufacturing documentation
Assist with identifying problems with material orders and suggesting solutions
Work cross functionally to troubleshoot and resolve paperwork and part issues
Adherent to established policies, procedures, and proper labor charging practices
Ability to work with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)
Ability to work overtime/weekends/shifts as needed
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Use high attention to detail and organizational skills
Maintain strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate's degree with a minimum of 0-2 years of prior related experience
Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
Ability to work with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)
Ability to work overtime/weekends/shifts as needed
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Use high attention to detail and organizational skills
Maintain strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred

Experience in an Electrical/Mechanical/Optical discipline
Aerospace or Defense industry experience
Proven experience as a Production Control Expert or in a similar role
In-depth knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
Lean Manufacturing practices
