Responsibilities
Electrical design and development for medical device systems
Schematic capture and PCB design / PCB layout
Electronics development in a regulated environment (FDA / ISO)
Hands-on prototyping, bring-up, debugging, and troubleshooting
Electrical verification, validation, and formal test execution
Component selection, qualification, and lifecycle support
Supporting pilot builds and low-volume production
Cross-functional collaboration with software, mechanical, manufacturing, quality, and systems engineering
Continuous improvement of designs, documentation, and engineering processes
Qualification
Required
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline
~3+ years of experience in medical device engineering or another regulated industry (aerospace, automotive, defense, etc.)
Experience contributing to full product development lifecycle
Proficiency with schematic capture tools and PCB layout software
Strong skills in electrical troubleshooting, documentation, and test methods
Comfortable working in a hands-on, onsite R&D environment
Clear communicator who collaborates well across engineering functions
Preferred
