Responsibilities
Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and arguments
Review, evaluate, and prepare cases for trial
Prepare legal documents, including complaints, responses to motions to dismiss (MTD), and motions for summary judgment (MSJ)
Engage in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution methods
Prepare for and attend depositions, gathering crucial information for cases
Prepare and respond to discovery requests and address any associated issues
Attend court hearings to represent clients and present legal arguments
Maintain consistent communication and provide updates to clients, ensuring they are informed and engaged
Qualification
Required
JD and an active Florida State Bar is required
Experience in first party property (preferred), or some type of insurance litigation (required)
Preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish) - highly preferred
