Responsibilities
Assist with incoming, in-process, and final inspections of materials and products per established procedures and drawings
Support measurement and inspection activities using basic metrology tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges, gauges)
Help document inspection results and ensure accurate, complete quality records
Support material identification, segregation, and documentation of nonconforming material
Assist Quality Engineers with investigations related to nonconformances, corrective actions, and root cause analysis
Support data collection and analysis for quality metrics, trends, and continuous improvement initiatives
Help review and update quality documentation such as work instructions, inspection plans, and forms
Participate in process improvement projects and risk-based problem-solving activities
Assist with document control activities, including revisions, distribution, and record retention
Support internal audit preparation and follow-up activities as assigned
Help ensure compliance with applicable quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, or similar, as applicable)
Maintain organized records in accordance with QMS requirements
Work with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to support quality objectives
Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and continuous improvement activities
Communicate findings, observations, and recommendations clearly and professionally
Qualification
Required
Coursework or experience related to quality systems, statistics, or process improvement
Familiarity with basic inspection tools and measurement techniques
Exposure to quality standards (ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485)
Experience with data analysis or basic statistical tools
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality concepts
Root cause analysis, CAPA, and risk-based problem-solving
Hands-on manufacturing floor experience
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to follow procedures and work in a regulated environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
