This role involves supervising a team of training specialists, redesigning training models, and overseeing curriculum development for Epic and Workday training across various clinical and operational areas.

Responsibilities
Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of Epic/IT Trainers, providing ongoing coaching and performance management
Evaluate team skill sets and recommend changes to optimize resource alignment
Maintain strong communication channels, lead team meetings, and set performance expectations
Redesign initial and ongoing training models for providers, nurses, ambulatory staff, and Community Connect partners
Introduce more interactive, asynchronous, and workflow-based learning leveraging tools such as Articulate and Camtasia
Ensure training materials and course content stay accurate, updated, and aligned to organizational standards and foundation build
Oversee Epic curriculum development, delivery, test-outs, and upgrade training
Support Workday-based course registration and learning workflows for internal and external learners
Participate in training evaluations and observe training sessions to assess quality and identify improvements
Support the launches of multiple Epic modules (Beaker, Cupid, Research, Gallery, Willow Ambulatory, Lumens, etc.)
Coordinate training readiness for upgrades, go-lives, and new Community Connect affiliates
Lead change management efforts to shift training culture and adopt new best practices
Partner with Clinical Education, operations, informatics, and project teams to incorporate workflows and clinical best practices into training curriculums
Participate in Epic and Workday workgroups and liaise with stakeholders (e.g., analysts, operational departments)
Qualification
Required
Experience in Epic training leadership
Expertise in instructional design
Ability to supervise and mentor a team of training specialists
Experience in evaluating team skill sets and optimizing resource alignment
Strong communication skills
Experience in redesigning training models for various healthcare roles
Ability to introduce interactive and workflow-based learning
Experience in ensuring training materials are accurate and aligned with organizational standards
Experience in overseeing Epic curriculum development and delivery
Ability to support Workday-based course registration and learning workflows
Experience in training evaluations and quality assessments
Experience in project and change management
Ability to coordinate training readiness for upgrades and go-lives
Experience in leading change management efforts
