Responsibilities
Create test methods and test cases for firmware requirement verification
Conduct firmware requirement verification and document test results
Create test plans and reports and record defects observed
Perform regression tests and other tests throughout software development and verification phases
Continuously support testing needs of firmware developers
Collaborate with software automation engineers to further enhance the capabilities of the test automation framework
Work with cross-functional teams and technicians to design and develop test setup fixtures
Qualification
Required
B.S. or M.S. degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
3+ years of firmware testing or related experience
Experience with firmware testing from concept to production and for maintenance
Working experience with test and measurement equipment (e.g. Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, Programmable Power Supply, DMM)
Ability to read and understand data sheets and schematics
Experience with configuration management and issue tracking and resolution
Ability to meet deadlines and work in multidisciplinary project teams
Excellent communication skills both written and oral
Preferred
Experience with medical device software life cycles processes (ISO 62304) is preferred
