Program Manager, Public Art & Collections

Airport Foundation MSP is the only airport foundation of its kind in the world, and they are seeking a Program Manager, Public Art & Collections to help care for and grow MSP Airport’s permanent public art collection. In this role, you’ll lead the commissioning, installation, and ongoing care of artworks while supporting conservation, documentation, and community engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead permanent public art projects from concept to installation
Oversee collections care, conservation, and documentation
Coordinate with airport construction and infrastructure teams
Manage contracts, budgets, timelines, and artist relationships
Support community engagement and artist selection processes
Work with marketing and communications to share the collection with the public

Required

A bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in public art, arts administration, architecture, museum studies, or a related field
3–5 years of experience in public art, collections, or a related area
Strong project management, budgeting, and communication skills
Knowledge of contemporary public art and commissioning processes
Comfort working in a busy, public-facing environment

Preferred

Experience with transportation, government, or infrastructure projects is a plus, but not required
