Responsibilities

Responsible for application and interface planning and development, implementation planning and installation, application training and education, project management, and quality service and support
Project management responsibilities include implementation evaluation and analysis, budgeting, resource allocation, and strategic planning for new projects
Is self-directing and exercises their duties with minimal supervision and functions as a mentor to their peers
Will interact with CHOC associates and management, outside consultants and vendors

Required

Minimum three (3) years of Healthcare Information System implementation experience
At least three (3) years of Project Management experience
High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent work experience
Project Management Professional (PMP)® credential
Project management principles, budget management principles
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Microsoft Project Management of operational and capital budgets, and resource management
Ability to set goals and judge results in accordance with the highest standards; care with sensitivity and respect; advance care through development of new ideas and technology; promote teamwork to achieve CHOC's mission; and understand and exceed customer expectations
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to lead and motivate people and encourage teamwork
Initiates and maintains vendor and user relationships
Ability to communicate effectively with leadership
Ensure execution and compliance of processes, methods and tools
Develop and deliver key documents
Proven record of success in previous projects
Measured by budget, scope, schedule and project acceptance document
Serves as a role model in promoting good working relationships across a project
Exercises Project Management Best Practices within the IT PMO
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Personal effectiveness skills, such as time management and setting and achieving goals
Project Management Prof (PMP)

Preferred

One (1) year of supervisory and project management experience with IT personnel
Bachelors degree in related field
Microsoft Project Server 2013
Microsoft Project Server 2013, MS Office Suite
