Responsibilities
Resolving maintenance and serviceability challenges across a rapidly growing fleet of grid-scale energy storage sites
Working with Service Engineering and Field Service teams to ensure that LG Vertech meets its contractual and performance obligations for energy storage projects
Utilizing BESS operations data and service work-order data to identify trends, analyze fleet-wide issues, and develop robust measurables for mean time to fail (MTTF), mean time to repair (MTTR), and other key Service and product performance metrics
Developing processes and tools to track and highlight operational risks and facilitate the efficient delivery of contractual service obligations
Working across various functional teams such as Supply Chain, Operations, Service, Software, and other domains to identify high-impact issues and support effective issue resolution
Assist technical and commercial discussions related to fleet maintenance and obligation delivery, evaluating new contractual performance requirements, assessing business risks and prototyping KPIs
Additional technical and administrative functions may be assigned as needed
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline, preferably Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent years of experience in BESS and/or renewable energy industries
Advanced proficiency in Python or R or SQL and able to manipulate and analyze large data sets for informed decision making
Experience with data visualization platforms (e.g: Power BI or Tableau) for developing strategic insights and executive reporting
Experience with owning the development and implementation of business processes
Relevant years of experience, often around 3+ years, with operations and maintenance activities for power generation or similar equipment
Strong owner's mindset, stakeholder management, and written & verbal communication skills
Proven track record understanding customer pain points and translating them into data product solutions
Demonstrated ability to work in cross functional teams with strong analytical skills and a proactive problem-solving approach
Preferred
Experience in statistical methods for performance monitoring/forecasting
Knowledge in BESS or PCS systems architectures, understanding of SCADA and control systems, inventory optimization
