Start in 2026 SummerNewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is offering a 10-week paid Hospital Operations internship for qualified graduate students. Interns will work with operational leaders to support initiatives focused on operational efficiency, patient flow, and service excellence.

Supporting operational improvement initiatives related to patient flow, throughput, and capacity management
Assisting with data analysis, reporting, and performance metrics
Participating in process improvement projects and operational planning
Preparing presentations and materials for leadership meetings
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams across clinical and administrative areas
Qualification
Required
Completion of first year of a graduate program by internship start
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Preferred
Current graduate students pursuing degrees in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, Health Policy, or related fields
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Interest in hospital operations, quality improvement, and healthcare delivery systems
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, in-person environment
