Responsibilities

Manual Testing: Perform initial manual functional, regression, and UAT testing on existing MVC and .NET Core applications
Automation Strategy: Evaluate and implement testing tools that align with a .NET ecosystem
Pipeline Management: Write and maintain YAML files to trigger automated tests within Azure DevOps build/release cycles
Accessibility Auditing: Conduct regular accessibility audits using tools like Axe, WAVE, or screen readers (JAWS/NVDA)
Culture Building: Mentor developers on writing testable code and advocate for "Shift Left" testing principles

Qualification

C#/.NET MVCC#/.NET .NET CoreAPI testing (RESTful services)Automated test suitesLoadPerformance testingAzure BoardsReposSQL for backend validationAccessibility auditingMentoring developers

Required

5+ years of experience in C#/.NET (MVC and .NET Core)
Experience in public sector or highly regulated environments
Experience with API testing (RESTful services)
Knowledge of Load and Performance testing in Azure
Deep understanding of WCAG 2.1 and Section 508 requirements and testing methodologies
Proven track record of building automated test suites from the ground up
Strong proficiency in Azure Boards, Repos, and YAML-based Pipelines
Proficiency in SQL for backend data validation
