Responsibilities
Process accounts payable invoices and payments with a strong understanding of three-way matching
Apply accounts receivable cash receipts and assist with payment reconciliations
Prepare journal entries and reconcile balance sheet schedules, including prepaid expenses, depreciation, and credit cards
Assist with 1099 preparation and filing
Propose, manage, and maintain vendor payment schedules
Set up ACH, wire, and credit card payments for weekly executive approval
Support ad hoc accounting analysis and special projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Preferred
Prior experience in an accounting specialist, junior accountant, or similar role preferred
Experience with accounting or ERP systems (Full Circle a plus, but not required)
