Training Coordinator (ISD) - Revenue Cycle Training & Quality Assurance

Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego is seeking a Training Coordinator for Patient Access to conduct needs analysis and facilitate training on technology and computer applications. The role involves designing and developing training materials, collaborating with various departments, and supporting the implementation of IS projects.

Responsibilities

Conduct needs analysis and facilitate training of technology and computer applications throughout the hospital
Provide design and development of training materials
Maintain certification/proficiency in appropriate technology(s)/application(s)
Collaborate with other Trainers, Instructional Designer/CBT Developer, CIS, IS, and staff in corresponding departments and clinics
Ensure mechanisms are in place to maintain effective technology training based on identified needs and priorities
Support and implement IS projects within the department and the organization
Facilitate ongoing programs and specific targeted program review plan logistics of events
Create and/or edit correspondence and establish, maintain and revise record keeping/filing systems
Be available for on-site events/programs and support staff with program registration
Offer ideas to enhance programs

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Technology education, Information Systems, or Healthcare
3 years of experience in instructional design and facilitation required
Certification in EMR & Technology Applications (new employees without certification are expected to be certified within 12 months of hire date)
Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks and workflow, work independently while collaborating with internal and external customers
Works collaboratively with a variety of internal and external customers (i.e. staff, peers, managers, medical staff, community groups, affiliated facilities)
Skill in advanced administrative procedures/practices to include advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and educational development software
Ability to accurately speak, read, write and understand English

Preferred

5 years of experience in instructional design and facilitation
Knowledge or experience in clinical/business operations
