Responsibilities

Research: You’ll find and research topics our customers want to learn more about. You’ll source ideas from support requests, sales calls, demos, Slack community posts, and Stedi’s own industry experts

Create world-class technical content: You’ll produce and publish technical content that’s engaging to our customers and prospects. This may include:

Blog posts

Email newsletters

Changelog entries

Social media posts

Product demo videos

Podcast episodes

Video shorts

Sales one-pagers and presentations

Website copy

Other content that’s needed or you suggest

Measure your impact: You’ll determine how well your content is working by looking at outputs that matter, such as inbound leads, and adjust your strategy as needed

Qualification

Required

Expert technical communicator with experience in creating high-quality technical writing and video content

Ability to explain complex workflows and complicated concepts in plain English without dumbing them down

Experience in designing and scaling systems that work

Comfortable experimenting with new technology and tools

Technical proficiency in making REST API requests, writing scripts, building demo apps, and using the command line

Previous experience as a software developer, technical writer, or similar role

Ability to create compelling, digestible technical content in a day or less

Strong understanding of customer needs and storytelling ability

Ownership of content production from ideation and publication to measurement

Ability to respond with urgency and communicate effectively

Attention to detail and commitment to finding success, generating revenue, and improving costs
