Responsibilities

Designing and building core components of Code Metal's analysis and transformation pipelines
Working on tools that analyze, reason about, and transform real-world codebases
Shaping and evolving system architecture as the product and team scale
Collaborating closely with research and product partners to turn ideas into production systems
Writing production-quality code and setting technical standards across the team
Hiring and leading small groups of engineers

Required

Experience in building and shipping complex systems
Experience managing small teams
Depth in at least one core systems domain such as compilers, static analysis, or program analysis tooling
Experience with Agentic AI pipelines, tuning Large Language Models or Reinforcement Learning
Hands-on technical leadership skills
Ability to design and build core components of analysis and transformation pipelines
Ability to write production-quality code
Ability to set technical standards across the team
Ability to collaborate closely with research and product partners
Ability to shape and evolve system architecture

US Citizens or Green Card holders preferred
