They are seeking an experienced Wiring Harness Design Engineer to lead the design and development of automotive wiring harness schematics, ensuring compliance with specifications and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
Design and develop wiring harness schematics for automotive applications
Define harness architecture and wire routing based on product requirements
Determine appropriate wire and fuse sizing to meet system specifications
Implement and optimize CAN network layouts within vehicle architecture
Translate product plans into harness complexity and schematic designs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support harness development, validation, and release
Review and interpret wiring harness drawings, ensuring adherence to industry standards and specifications
Support technical documentation management for wiring harnesses, including internal documentation platforms
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
Experience with DFMEA, DVP&R, and DFSS development tools and processes
Working knowledge of CAD systems such as NX and CATIA
Fluency in Spanish and English
Experience in high-volume automotive manufacturing environments
Familiarity with wiring harness drawings and automotive specifications
