Talent Acquisition Specialist - Mid-Atlantic Region (D.C., Maryland, Virginia)

Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their amazing culture. In this role, you will provide project support for a variety of Talent Acquisition programs and processes with a direct focus on sourcing candidates.

Responsibilities

Sourcing candidates to fill open requisites using a variety of tools and processes
Collaborates with HR Business Partners and Business Leaders to ensure efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the needs of the business
Assists in the job posting and advertisement process
Screens applicants and selects qualified candidates
Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials
Assists in interview process, attending and conducting interviews with Business Leaders and other stakeholders
Collaborates with hiring managers, HR Business Partners and/or others during the offer letter process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other details
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
Coordinates, attends and participates in college job fairs, community career fairs as well as military partnerships
Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required

Required

High level of organization and time management skills
Excellent written communication skills
Excellent computer skills required (good knowledge of Outlook, MS Word, PowerPoint and Publisher)

Must have high level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
Attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize
College degree, trade school background, or equivalent experience
1+ years of relevant recruiting experience

Preferred

Experience supporting construction, security, or technical trade hiring
Experience supporting sales, management, or administrative hiring
PHR or similar certification
