Davies Talent Solutions is partnering with a national insurance organization known for its collaborative culture and exceptional leadership. They are seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Legal Adjuster to manage Florida and Maryland litigated and lost-time claims in a fully remote role.

Responsibilities

Manage Florida and Maryland Workers’ Compensation litigated & lost-time claims
Investigate claims and evaluate compensability and exposure
Apply Florida and Maryland WC statutes and case law to determine benefits
Set, monitor, and adjust accurate reserves
Coordinate medical treatment and return-to-work efforts
Ensure timely state filings, EDI submissions, and full regulatory compliance
Partner closely with defense counsel on:
Depositions
Mediations
Litigation strategy

Qualification

Workers’ Compensation AdjustingFlorida All-Lines Adjuster LicenseFlorida & Maryland WC LawCompensability & Exposure AnalysisMedical ManagementTeam-Oriented EnvironmentCommunication Skills

Required

3–5+ years of Workers' Compensation Lost-Time / Legal adjusting experience
Active Florida All-Lines Adjuster License
Experience handling Maryland Workers' Compensation claims
Strong working knowledge of Florida & Maryland WC law
Benefit determination
Presumption claims
Excellent investigation, documentation, and communication skills
Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, remote, team-oriented environment
Must reside in Maryland
