Responsibilities
The Drafter Converts engineering concepts into detailed technical drawing , blueprints , and 3D models using CAD software
Prepare documentation for Manufacturing
Interpret engineering drawings, and specifications for machines and components
Must be proficient in Solidworks and AutoCAD or similar software
Operate computer-assisted design (CAD) and drafting workstations
Develop and prepare engineering drawings, plans, diagrams, or layouts from sketches
Complete documentation packages and produce drawing sets
Perform dimensional and visual inspections on machined components
Perform some in-process inspections where the part is still on the machine
Detect and control nonconforming product
Organize and maintain quality records
Qualification
Required
Convert engineering concepts into detailed technical drawing, blueprints, and 3D models using CAD software
Prepare documentation for Manufacturing
Interpret engineering drawings, and specifications for machines and components
Must be proficient in Solidworks and AutoCAD or similar software
Operate computer-assisted design (CAD) and drafting workstations

Strong PC skills in AutoCAD, Solidworks and MS Office
Must be able to use or learn to use OD ring gauges, thread lead and profile gauges, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other measuring equipment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Drafting, CAD Technology, or a related field
