Responsibilities

Lead the full life-cycle of EHS programs, driving impactful operational and technical improvements that may extend across broader organizational teams

Anticipate issues, propose solutions, and identify needs to develop or improve EHS Operations (Ops) tools/processes. Evaluate incident data and track corrective actions

Evaluate EHS impact during data center design reviews, equipment, and process changes. Perform EHS risk evaluations and define process controls for new processes

Ensure comprehensive authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) compliance, manage permits/key performance indicators. Provide site ownership and drive EHS turn-up of new locations with little supervision, demonstrating complete campus EHS ownership

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, managing dependencies. Own site-based EHS decision-making and serve as a recognized subject matter expert (SME) in multiple EHS verticals

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

2 years of experience in EHS program or project management

2 years of experience managing EHS systems, overseeing risk assessments and working with operational cross-functional teams

Preferred

Master's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience

Certifications from Board of Certified Safety Professionals, National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) or equivalent agency

7 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team EHS programs

Experience in data center or electrical safety

Experience in communicating with AHJs (e.g., federal, state, and local authorities) for notifications and permit conformance
