Responsibilities
Own end-to-end architecture for real-time, embedded, distributed systems
Translate product goals into system specs , data flows, and interface definitions
Lead technical design across perception-like sensing , decisioning, control, and simulation workflows
Establish engineering standards that support quality, safety, and cybersecurity
Partner cross-functionally with hardware, systems, and security teams
Help drive integration, demos, and hands-on testing in real-world conditions
Mentor engineers and raise the bar on design and execution
Qualification
Required
U.S. Citizenship required (ability to obtain clearance)
Own end-to-end architecture for real-time, embedded, distributed systems
Translate product goals into system specs, data flows, and interface definitions
Lead technical design across perception-like sensing, decisioning, control, and simulation workflows
Establish engineering standards that support quality, safety, and cybersecurity
Partner cross-functionally with hardware, systems, and security teams
Help drive integration, demos, and hands-on testing in real-world conditions
Mentor engineers and raise the bar on design and execution
C++ / Python / Linux
Real-time design patterns, performance optimization, and reliability engineering
Robotics-style frameworks (e.g., ROS/ROS2 or similar)
Perception & estimation tools (e.g., OpenCV, filtering, point clouds)
Simulation/digital twins (e.g., Gazebo, Isaac Sim, MuJoCo or similar)
Preferred
MBSE exposure
GPU acceleration (TensorRT, ONNX)
sim2real validation workflows
Experience in security-sensitive or compliance-heavy environments
