Responsibilities

Define and execute Block Reign’s overall technology strategy and roadmap

Architect systems that integrate Web2 platforms with Web3 and blockchain infrastructure

Make informed decisions on where blockchain adds value — and where it does not

Ensure technology aligns with business objectives, compliance standards, and scalability goals

Oversee full-stack development across frontend, backend, APIs, and infrastructure

Lead architecture decisions for Web and SaaS applications, APIs and microservices, Wallet integrations and blockchain data interaction, Identity, authentication, and security layer

Maintain high standards for code quality, documentation, and system reliability

Lead integrations with blockchain networks, nodes, explorers, wallets, and indexing services

Demonstrate understanding of on-chain vs. off-chain architecture, Node infrastructure and network participation, Wallet interactions and transaction flows, Utility-based digital assets (non-investment use cases)

Partner with compliance and legal teams to ensure regulatory-aware implementations

Lead, mentor, and scale internal and external engineering teams

Clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Collaborate cross-functionally with CEO and executive leadership, Product, operations, and compliance team, External development and infrastructure partners

Build systems with security, privacy, and compliance embedded from inception

Support audits, documentation, and internal controls

Understand regulatory considerations impacting blockchain-integrated technology

Required

Proven Web3 and blockchain experience (hands-on and/or technical leadership)

Experience integrating blockchain technology into real-world, production systems

Strong understanding of Web2 and Web3 interoperability

Full-stack development expertise

Backend systems, APIs, and infrastructure experience

Frontend development with modern frameworks

Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, or equivalent)

Security-first architecture mindset

Executive-level communication and collaboration skills

Strong people leadership and mentorship capabilities

Ability to translate technical decisions into business outcomes

Calm, decisive, and highly collaborative leadership style

Preferred

Experience in regulated industries (fintech, payments, govtech, healthcare, etc.)

Experience working closely with compliance and legal teams

Experience scaling platforms from early-stage to growth

Prior CTO or senior engineering leadership experience
