Finance Operations Manager
The Energy Project is a small, remote organization seeking a Finance Operations professional to manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. This hands-on role involves managing invoicing, collections, and cash application while partnering with Sales and Operations to resolve billing issues.
Responsibilities
Own Accounts Receivable and day-to-day Accounts Payable
Manage invoicing, collections, cash application, and expense processing
Provide regular visibility into cash and aging
Work in coordination with external controller support for monthly close and reporting
Qualification
Required
Experience in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable management
Hands-on execution-focused approach
Ability to manage invoicing, collections, cash application, and expense processing
Experience with QuickBooks
Strong partnership skills to work closely with Sales and Operations
Ability to resolve billing issues
Capability to provide regular visibility into cash and aging
Experience working with external controller support for monthly close and reporting
Detail-oriented
Comfortable operating independently in a low-bureaucracy environment
