Building robust, high-availability service mesh platforms for mission-critical systems, owning systems from design to production
Deploying, integrating, and optimizing Tetrate's service mesh solutions for enterprise customers
Providing post-sale technical assistance, troubleshooting, and training for customers
Automating tasks and developing tools for efficiency
Contributing to Envoy, Wazero, and the broader ecosystem
Participating in on-call rotations for production systems
Qualification
Required
Deep expertise in Kubernetes
Deep expertise in Istio
Deep expertise in Envoy
Deep expertise in gRPC
Deep expertise in HTTP2
Deep expertise in Web Assembly (WASM)
Strong skills in C
Strong skills in Go
Strong skills in Rust
Excellent understanding of distributed systems
Excellent understanding of networking protocols (TCPIP, TLS)
Excellent understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Systematic, first-principles problem-solving for complex issues
Experience with monitoring
Experience with profiling (pprof)
Experience with tracing (eBPF)
Knowledge of mTLS
Knowledge of RBAC
Knowledge of Zero Trust
Knowledge of secure communication
Familiarity with GitOps
Familiarity with Terraform
