Responsibilities
Carry out condition surveys, forensic reviews, and root-cause evaluations of envelope and façade systems
Create repair strategies, detailed drawings, specifications, and other construction documents
Direct design work for new and existing envelopes while ensuring alignment with codes, standards, and sustainability targets
Work closely with structural engineers, contractors, building owners, and other partners
Conduct site observations, field testing, and quality-control checks
Prepare clear technical reports, client presentations, and proposals
Qualification
Required
Active PE or RA license - or ability to obtain within 6 months
Degree in structural/ civil engineering or architecture, or a related field
5+ of relevant professional experience
Strong background in evaluating and repairing existing buildings, especially façade and envelope systems
Demonstrated ability to manage clients and lead projects
Experience mentoring or managing staff
