Outside Sales & Inside Representative
Confidential company specializes in high-quality turned metal components for OEM customers across various demanding industries. They are seeking an Outside Sales Representative to develop new OEM accounts and manage existing customer relationships in the Chicago metro area, focusing on B2B sales of precision machining and contract manufacturing services.
Responsibilities
Developing new OEM accounts
Managing existing customers
Representing DuPage Machine Products’ machining capabilities to manufacturers throughout the Chicago metro area and surrounding regions
Qualification
Required
3+ years of outside sales experience, ideally in manufacturing or industrial B2B sales
Proven success selling contract manufacturing, machining, or technical services
Strong understanding of OEM purchasing processes
Ability to read or understand engineering drawings and technical requirements
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Self-directed, accountable, and comfortable working independently
Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally
Preferred
Experience selling CNC turning, Swiss machining, or precision components
Existing relationships with OEMs in hydraulics, industrial equipment, medical, aerospace, or defense
Familiarity with quality systems, tolerances, and regulated manufacturing environments
