Paralegal-Domestic Relations Section
County of Adams is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal to support their legal team in the Domestic Relations Section. The role involves assisting the Title IV-D Attorney with child support and paternity cases, coordinating hearings, drafting legal documents, and ensuring case materials are accurate and complete.

Responsibilities
Prepare and process subpoenas, court orders, and motions
Schedule and coordinate hearings with judges, attorneys, and parties
Attend court sessions to assist attorneys and manage exhibits
Perform notary duties and maintain organized case files
Support legal research, appeals, and intergovernmental case coordination
Ensure compliance with legal procedures and maintain confidentiality of records
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree or certificate in Paralegal Studies (required)
Proficient in Microsoft Office and general office practices
Must pass all required background checks and clearances, including fingerprinting
Preferred
1–2 years of legal experience preferred; Domestic Relations experience in Pennsylvania a plus
Knowledge of child support laws and court procedures preferred
