Responsibilities
Direct and manage multiple solar and battery energy projects at different stages (new builds, upgrades, expansions)
Coordinate between internal engineering teams, field leadership, and external stakeholders
Supervise site leadership including superintendents and foremen
Maintain regular communication with clients, developers, general contractors, and local authorities
Control project cost tracking, timelines, RFIs, change orders, and documentation
Ensure adherence to NEC, utility interconnection rules, and quality protocols
Provide weekly project reports to executives and clients
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in commercial or industrial project management within construction
Prior involvement in solar energy projects
Background in electrical contracting, with exposure to high-voltage systems and utility interconnects
Familiarity with project tools such as Procore, MS Project (or similar), and intermediate to advanced Excel
Strong leadership and decision-making skills
Ability to be based in Houston and travel to sites as needed
Preferred
Journeyman License is a plus but not required
