NEOGOV is seeking a Summer Intern for the Henry County Department of Transportation Planning to assist with various transportation planning projects. The intern will develop video presentations and summarize key transportation planning documents for public understanding.

Responsibilities

Develop concise, engaging video presentations (3–5 minutes) explaining Henry County transportation planning initiatives in clear, plain language for the general public
Review and thoroughly understand Henry County’s Transportation Plan, Transit Master Plan, and Trails Plan in order to accurately summarize key concepts and recommendations
Translate complex, technical planning documents into accessible content suitable for residents with no planning background
Produce semi-professional quality videos for publication on the Henry County website and YouTube channel
Independently plan, script, film, and edit video content using personal video equipment and editing software
Present information confidently and clearly on camera
As time allows, create additional videos highlighting current and upcoming transportation planning projects and initiatives
Utilize a County-provided laptop to support video production and related tasks

Required

Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student, or a college graduate within the past year; or
