Wander Developments is seeking a Senior GL Accountant to join our Finance team. The main purpose of the role is to manage general ledger activities, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support budgeting and compliance efforts.

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee general ledger activities and journal entries
Ensure accurate posting of transactions and monthly closings
Prepare financial statements and detailed GL reports
Perform balance sheet and account reconciliations
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and audit
Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors when needed

Qualification

Accounting principlesFinancial reportingGL accounting experienceReal estate accountingBachelor’s degree

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Proven experience as a GL Accountant
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

Preferred

Experience in real estate or construction accounting is a strong plus
