Responsibilities
Directly assist and lead the setup and tear down of equipment for various operational systems, including:
Pumping Systems
Power Generation and Distribution Systems
HVAC Systems (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning)
Energy and Temporary Utility Systems
Actively participate in the rapid deployment and management of resources for disaster restoration and emergency response efforts
Promote and maintain a safe work environment by ensuring strict adherence to all company safety policies, procedures, and best practices for every task and duty
Identify potential hazards and implement necessary controls to guarantee the team operates in a manner that ensures project execution and minimizes risk
Collaborate closely with Project Leads and management to monitor project timelines and resource allocation
Ensure projects are completed on time and that all deployed equipment is running efficiently to guarantee profitable delivery and client satisfaction
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent is typically required; additional technical certifications or education in mechanics or engineering is a plus
Prior experience in a mechanical, maintenance or related role specifically with bypass pumping, generators, power distribution, a/c and heat and water restoration or construction equipment
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and electrical/electronic interfaces
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints and schematics
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively troubleshoot complex issues
Excellent verbal and written skills to interact effectively with customers, team members and internal resources
