Responsibilities

Design and build scalable backend services in C# / .NET (primary language)
Contribute to Python tooling and data workflows where it makes sense
Build desk-facing UI components with modern frontend frameworks (React preferred)
Lead/contribute to system design: distributed services, API design, event-driven patterns, performance strategy
Engineer for production: monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, graceful degradation, reliability improvements
Partner with traders/desk stakeholders to deliver high-impact functionality quickly
Own delivery across the full lifecycle: design → implementation → deployment → production support

Qualification

Required

Strong experience building production-grade systems (not just prototypes)
Hands-on C#/.NET experience or Java/C++ plus willingness to ramp into C#
Solid system design fundamentals (distributed systems trade-offs, correctness, failure modes)
Performance-aware mindset (profiling, throughput/latency thinking, efficient serialization, async/concurrency)
Comfortable shipping across backend + UI
(You don't need to be a frontend specialist, but you should be able to deliver real React components.)
Strong communication and ability to work directly with desk stakeholders

Preferred

Python experience (or fast learner)
Experience in systematic trading / markets / execution environments
Familiarity with real-time monitoring platforms, high-throughput services, or control systems
UI taste—engineers who care about usability and polish thrive here
