Responsibilities
Manage multiple large complex models and coordinate the models of each sub within the project team
Coordinate internal AECOM and external A/E disciplines for successful outcomes during construction
Find and understand new software to help the team stay at the forefront of design
Teach team members Revit/BIM skills
Run clash detection in the models and resolve issues with the team
Provide architectural design and support on complex projects
Develop contract documents through all phases of design (SD, DD, CD)
Prepare architectural plans, elevations, sections, details, and specifications
Coordinate quality control reviews of contract documents prior to issuance to client
Coordinate and attend design reviews with clients, project managers, and municipal agencies
Liaison with design and drafting groups
Perform advanced technical assignments of various complexities within approved schedules and budgets
Coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project
Assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel
Create the project BIM guidelines and help develop the project BIM standards with the client and general contractor
Give guidance to project team on how to implement guidelines and standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Design or related field
0 years of work experience in the BIM industry or as Architectural and Construction Engineer or related occupation
Alternatively, 2 years of work experience in the BIM industry or as an Architectural and Construction Engineer or related occupation
Experience in Autodesk Revit
Experience in creating Revit families that streamline the work
Experience in Architectural/Engineering Drafting
Experience in assisting in development of Architectural design, detailing and coordination of models with other design disciplines
Experience in producing construction documents in BIM environments
Experience in managing ACC environments
Experience in Navisworks
Experience in Dynamo
Experience in DiRoots
Experience in leading cross discipline BIM meetings
Experience in initiating and evaluating parametric formulas to achieve intended design concepts
Experience in creating BIM guidelines for a project and coordinating with project team for proper implementation and use
Experience in creating BIM template for a project and coordinating with project team for proper implementation and use
Experience in managing BIM Content Library
Experience in pushing software updates out to project team
