They are seeking a Systems Test Engineering Co-Op who will assist in testing and validating electronic controls, writing automated test scripts, and configuring test systems under the guidance of systems engineers.

Responsibilities
Assemble experimental circuitry and complete prototype models according to engineering schematics, instructions, technical manuals, and knowledge of electronic systems and components
Assemble and verify various HVAC systems as well as test fixtures which include various AC voltage levels (24/120/220VAC) as well as DC voltage levels (12/5/3.3VDC)
Set up standard test apparatus or design test equipment and circuitry to conduct functional, operational, environmental, and life tests to evaluate performance and reliability of prototype or production models
Upgrade software and run software tests on existing electronic systems. To include maintaining detailed records of validity tests and upgrades performed
Maintain a safety conscious environment for all personnel working in lab
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Full time student working towards a Computer Science or Engineering Degree
Understand basic voltage and current circuits, diagrams, schematics and instructions in order to complete installation or troubleshooting of electronics systems, parts or wiring networks
Ability to read, understand and implement technical procedures, and government regulations and to record technical information
Basic working knowledge of electronic controls test and instrumentation equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, and environmental test chambers
Good command of Python or other programming languages
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, and Excel
