Responsibilities
Independently and collaboratively contribute to multidisciplinary project teams
Manage and execute public and private sector contracts
Collaborate directly with licensed engineering professionals
Create surfaces, contours, alignments, and profiles using Autodesk Civil 3D
Creation of survey base maps, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and ALTA/NSPS surveys
Oversee and manage project files, layer standards, and title blocks
Develop technical engineering designs, construction documentation, and permit applications for State and County agencies
Prepare grant applications on behalf of municipal clients
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related discipline
Minimum of 5 plus years required in civil/survey drafting
GIS and point cloud data familiarity
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and experience in technical design, bid documentation (plans and specifications), cost estimation, and regulatory permitting
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting
Professional demeanor with a collaborative and adaptable approach to problem-solving
Preferred
NJ Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is HIGHLY preferred
