Responsibilities
Manage the Sample Shop schedule which includes maintaining open orders and organizing builds which provide Gantt chart transparency to the engineering team
Understand equipment capability and ensure functionality for sample builds/troubleshoot any equipment issues
Hold weekly meetings with our remote production facility to ensure parts are shipped in a timely fashion
Work closely with the engineering team to confirm sample requirements are understood and met
Ensure the Sample Shop equipment and area is organized and clean
Improve Sample Shop efficiency and flow
Lift or move up to 50 pounds when handling equipment or product
Use the following software programs when performing this job: Microsoft Word, Excel, SAP and internal EDM programs for data acquisition
Travel as required to support the Department
Assist in building prototypes as needed which can include the following: adding thermocouples to motor windings, winding production, stator production and motor assembly
Perform all other duties as assigned
