Responsibilities
Management, interpretation, and administration of HR polices and procedures
Recruit, interview and select qualified applicants for open full-time and seasonal positions and conduct new employee orientations
Understand and administer the Seneca Employee Benefits program at the location level
Administer FMLA/STD/Leave, Safety and Worker's Compensation programs
Conduct required HR/Legal Compliance training for all employees
Ensure that employee files and documentation are maintained
Qualification
Required
College Degree and/or 4+ years of experience in progressively responsible human resource roles
Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
Excellent communication skills – verbal, listening, written, and computer
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to relate to employees at all levels of the organization
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree preferred
2+ years' experience in a supervisory role preferred
Ability to speak conversational Spanish is preferred
