Responsibilities

Read and comprehend procedures
Travel to locations in the U.S. and/or Canada with no restrictions
Work in confined/enclosed spaces and be comfortable with heights
Strong written and verbal communication skills to describe complex damages, participate in the preparation of inspection and repair reports, and follow up to final resolution
Test electrical components and systems, as well as mechanical and hydraulic systems
Perform maintenance on wind turbine equipment including troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic malfunctions. Replace worn or malfunctioning components

Required

Must meet body weight restrictions of 265 pounds or less as required by the safety regulations
Must pass a physical administered by a medical practitioner to ensure ability to safely perform the job functions and meet the physical demands of the position
Must be willing to travel for extended periods of time - up to 95%
High school diploma or equivalent
Must pass pre-hire background drug screening
Hands on work experience as a Wind Technician on a Wind Farm required
