Responsibilities

Review and analyze administrative records to identify legal bases for challenging adverse agency decisions
Conduct legal research and provide strategic analysis on immigration issues in federal court
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation filings for federal courts
Prepare for and present oral arguments before federal judges
Advise internal and external audiences on federal court litigation strategies and options
Represent clients in complex immigration court proceedings
Collaborate closely with colleagues to resolve client matters and support shared projects
Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case strategy, procedural issues, and case progress

Required

3+ years of federal court practice, with a strong foundation in administrative law and judicial review of agency action
Litigation experience on behalf of the federal government is highly valued
J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school and active bar admission
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with a client-focused approach
Demonstrated initiative and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced setting with competing deadlines
Willingness to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibility
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong time-management skills
Availability to travel to the Philadelphia office twice per year
Willingness to attend networking conferences and travel for business development as needed
