Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize technical requirements
Drive the development of technical specifications and ensure alignment with overall product strategy
Provide technical guidance to the development team throughout the product lifecycle
Define and prioritize technical requirements, features, and user stories for development teams
Manage the product backlog, ensuring it is transparent, understood, and prioritized based on business value and technical feasibility
Own the quality, scope, and timeline for software releases, identifying and proactively managing risks
Work with system architects and engineers to capture feature requests and guide the technical design
Qualification
Required
6 or more years of experience in a Technical Product Owner role or similar technical leadership position and overall experience of 8 or more years
Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemical or Instrumentation or Computer Science, Engineering, or another related field with 5 or more years of experience in the Industrial Automation Domain
Knowledge of MES (Process Optimization, Asset Monitoring, Operations, Simulation software Etc.,) in oil and gas industry. Strong understanding of software development methodologies and processes
Experience working in agile development environments and familiarity with agile principles
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization
Preferred
Certifications in product management or agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner)
Excellent problem-solving capability and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
