Directs the work of Specification Engineers in the development and review of plans, specifications and estimates (PS&E) for highway improvement projects
Qualification
Required
Possession of a valid certificate of registration as a civil engineer issued by the California State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers is required
Possession of a valid driver's license is required when operating a state owned or leased vehicle

Please describe your experience with any Project Development processes that you've encountered, the Federal Highway Association, Stewardship Agreements, Plan Preparation Manual, Construction Contract Developments, Best Bids Standards
Describe your demonstrated experience working with internal and external staff, i.e. Project engineers, Traffic engineers, Maintenance engineers, Construction engineers, and local agencies. If applicable
Describe your ability to effectively apply logic and creativity in decision-making processes while addressing the needs of the organization, and external stakeholders

Unofficial, original, or official sealed transcripts will be accepted and may be required upon appointment.
