Responsibilities

Architect and build greenfield systems for execution monitoring and platform control
Design and develop high-performance backend services in C# / .NET (primary language)
Define service boundaries, APIs, data flow, eventing, and performance strategy
Contribute to desk-facing UI (JavaScript / TypeScript / React preferred), ensuring clean architecture and usability
Own production readiness: reliability, monitoring, logging, alerting, graceful degradation
Translate real desk workflows into robust, scalable technical solutions
Lead technical decision-making: architecture reviews, design discussions, implementation standards
Mentor engineers, review code, and raise the technical bar across the team
Work across distributed systems and data-intensive workloads where throughput and latency matter

Required

Strong experience delivering production-grade systems in C# / .NET
Proven system architecture and design expertise (distributed systems, scalability, failure modes)
Comfortable owning the full lifecycle: architecture → build → deployment → production
Performance-aware mindset (profiling, concurrency, async patterns, efficient data handling)
Able to contribute to frontend development
Clear communicator, comfortable working directly with trading stakeholders

Preferred

Experience with real-time or high-throughput systems
Exposure to trading, execution platforms, or systematic environments
Familiarity with modern engineering practices: CI/CD, automated testing, observability
Experience working with medium-to-large data volumes and performance optimisation
