Responsibilities
Build full websites, landing pages, and campaign pages using:
WordPress (Elementor + Gutenberg)
Squarespace (7.1)
Other platform builders (e.g., Duda, WIX, Kajabi)
Implement approved designs, layouts, and content provided by the Beacon team
Customize styling using native tools and CSS
Ensure pages are clean, polished, and consistent with brand guidelines
Bring curiosity about AI and use it to elevate your work, but never in place of your own craftsmanship, insight, and thinking
Set up hosting, staging sites, theme settings, and plugins
Handle basic functionality setup (forms, menus, headers/footers, blog templates)
Troubleshoot small glitches or layout issues
Ensure smooth, thoughtful mobile responsiveness
Follow internal QC checklists for spacing, typography, visual consistency, and functionality
Build with SEO-friendly structure in mind (URL slugs, headings, alt text)
Uphold Beacon’s quality bar: clean, intentional, organized, and user-friendly
Execute revision rounds efficiently and accurately
Assist with content updates and page refreshes as needed
Keep communication clear and proactive throughout the project timeline
Qualification
Required
Proficient with WordPress (Elementor + Gutenberg)
Strong working knowledge of Squarespace
Good eye for design and layout structure
Solid understanding of responsive design
Basic HTML/CSS for styling tweaks and fixes
Experience working with brand guidelines and content-driven websites
Clear communication and dependable follow-through
Preferred
Experience with Duda, Wix, or other platform builders
Familiarity with DNS settings, SSL, and domain launches
Familiarity with Google tools and tags (e.g., analytics, search console, tag manager)
Understanding of SEO basics for site builds
Comfortable working within shared client/agency environments
